The Children of Andy

Ok. This book, is, simply put, AAGGHHMAZING!!!! I might be a little bit biased due to the fact the the book’s author is my dad BUT STILL!!!! IT’S AMAZING!! It’s Douglas Adams/ Andy Weir style, with scientific facts and fun footnotes. There’s stuff about tetrachromacy, hyper-intelligent shades of blue, and splitting planets in half. It’s funny, informative, and a heartbreaking story throughout. Follow the adventures of humanity, after creating the first true AGI, Andy, who achieves true immortality for all the humans. But is this a gift or a curse? The great schism begins, the fight between mortals and immortals. Then another solution is proposed, and another solution fails. Goodbyes are said, people starving, full, ascended, dying, immortal, aging, and others. Yet humanity endures.
